Brake failure or not..
Entirely preventable. Yeah yeah, it’s the bottom of Vail and we can all point and play the “what if” game... none of that will get him out of this.

I stop at the truck stop there whenever I come through. Love that place.

He rolled by this dash cam no smoke from brakes.
Unless like mentioned above linkage broke. -
Dam if CNN reported it then I'm positive they blamed those failed brakes on Donald Trump somehowLast edited: Apr 26, 2019

They'll say his policies have increased the grades in the mountains. If it weren't for that people wouldn't be radicalized and thinking that they need brakes. All we need is common sense speed reduction technology.Al. Roper, blairandgretchen, 1951 ford and 22 others Thank this.

The two knobs on the dash wouldn't have slowed him down/got him stopped? That'd be the first thing I'd have reached for in that scenario.

If the brakes were glazed it wouldn’t help.
-
I meant if the pedal linkage was broken.

You can apply more brake with air, than spring psi. But in a emergency they might help. But if they are hot and glazed nothing will help
