Ok, so 2, maybe more. Just think that a seasoned driver would have done better. But I could be completely wrong.

I agree 100%. Was just stating there were some chains. I guess I have no basis to talk about chains as these are the only chains I have experience with. :biggrin_2559:

Why not throw some cross chains on the front takes 15 minutes.. I always cross chain beams like that, i never see any other flatbedders do it though. I dont think i could feel safe running beams without em....i never been a fan of straps on steel but its not illegal... Needless to say he is very luck his head is not hanging from the front of the load

They should make the ####### who cut this trucker off and probably brake checked him, he needs to pay for the damage.. Because u know #### well if the truck hit the car , the trucker is getting blamed for it.. I just hate the double standard out here

Straps are ok as long as edge protectors are used...also 4" straps have as 5400lb wll...and you also need 2 straps within the first 10 ft of load....chains are usually preferred on that type of load...

Bud A. and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

I hope there was dash cam footage of the #### 4 wheeler that caused this so they can be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

You are right, if you look at the 10 minute mark there are no chains. Now fast forward to 25 and you see the firemen placing chains to hold the load from tipping forward towards the front of the truck.

D.Tibbitt and Bud A. Thank this.
