Without authority or insurance? IIRC, driving without insurance here can be a $2,000 fine

The biggest thing besides the fact that it’s brand new and has issues is that we use truck air to run our pumps to offload product. When you have anything over 3-500 gallons to unload it’s nice to idle the truck up to around 1300 rpm’s to get the pump moving faster. Without the cruise function it’s a slog to get unloaded. If it’s a heavy product like 50% caustic of 93% sulfuric acid, the pump just creeps along barely pushing it.

We idle up also. Especially in the winter. The decks don't like to move when it's cold without a little extra rpm's.

Freind of mine has a driver that couldn’t pay for the toll booths on the WV toll road / I-77. I think that is ridiculous!!! But I understand his wife has this great ability..... to throw $$$ out the backdoor with a teaspoon, faster than he can throw it “$$$” in the front door with a grain shovel.

I sure HOPE she didn't actually say that, but given some of her other statements it would not surprise me.

Bootysniffing. “Simping” in 21st century street slang. You can always spot the woman who has been sheltered and surrounded by bootysniffers all her life, because she becomes accustomed to saying the stupidest things aloud without being told that she is a Braindead idiot.

Must've been related to my ex-wife.

Here's another good one from the "be prepared" files. Before trucking, I got one of the best project management gigs in my career due to this.

I am nearly certain the main reason I got the job offer was that 1. I had a valid passport and 2. A credit card capable of covering expenses for a 4 day trip to Munich, to be reimbursed 2 weeks later.

Turns out they needed someone to board a plane to Germany that Saturday for a big planning meeting. I accept.

Grubby, Al. Roper, sawmill and 19 others Thank this.
