Thanks Oxbow and Wore. Are you running your gauges into the cab and if yes, are you running an electric gauge?

Will low fuel psi on a pull cause a lean condition giving high EGTs and coolant temps? I can’t make my B smoke on a pull I wonder if she wants more fuel

That's right, but I do run a return regulator not a simple restriction regulator. Most of the air will go out the return on the regulator. My regulator returns to the right tank, my pump to the left. There are no bubbles in the left side, at idle at least lol

Sorry to start 100 questions on you Wore, but did you tee the return line from the injection pump into the return from your electric pump, or just run separate returns?

Isn’t that what your fuel filter gauge does.....measure vacuum?

Anything from the pump to tank is normally under vacuum. Its sucking it from the tank to the pump. Most alot of petes and kw have a fuel restriction gauge reading in inches of vacuum.

    I run a mechanical gauge.

I think low fuel will cause high temps for sure

No, fuel pressure, after transfer but before injection.

Edit to add: Mines electric. The mechanicals that I have had in the past were a bit better than the Teltek, but then you do have a fuel line running inside the cab with you if sheit hits the fan.

I'm a mind reader lol. I was afraid that the regulator return might over power the pump return and cause issues
