That kitty is a total momma’s girl, but will tolerate and use me if that’s all there is — I much prefer the company of the Shop Boss.

Had sleet and snow on 84/15 from Burley down to SLC yesterday. Was enough to get a good dusting on the hills. Today mostly sunny so far.
Prediction is to have some rain along the 15 corridor today.

I used to have sandwich bags with a cup of wheel bearing grease when I was driving. Since I was with Western Express whom didnt care about their trucks. Every other week at the beginning of the week after my 34. I would put one of these baggies on each side of the fifth wheel before getting the next trailer. My fifth wheel was never dry. Granted I only drove for them for two months. Hard to drive for a company whom wants you to work for free. Parked it at last load on day 60. Nope they didnt give me abandonement. Then again they forgot how to pay me too.

And it got me to thinking about the empty grease containers ( tubes ).

These are also line with plastic, or made entirely of plastic if you like to spend an extra $3 to support John Force.

They say there's 3 million truck drivers in America. That seems a bit high, but anyway, if we all use a tube a month, and everyone rotated through the communist state, that's 36 million grease filled tubes we could leave in California each year.

    Another win.

that would require those of us who refuse to go to the communist state, to go there.
    no thanks.
I know that sounds selfish, but there are some things I just won't do (unless the money is right.).

perhaps we should load up a whole truckload of empty barrels and tender to Landstar with the understanding that Dave pull it.

If they are the good heavy steel barrels... They can be made into AWESOME shop stoves.... Would be a shame to give them all to the commie state... But they can have my grease tubes or the cheap cardboard barrels
