Officially unemployed till Tuesday. Driver services manager tried to again shrug off blame while we were walking back in from final inspection (first time I've ever seen him climb up into a truck to inspect it), instead of wishing me well, saying he's sad to see me go, or they appreciated all my hard work, he started trying to tell me he "lost" the emails I sent him, and he isn't entirely to blame.

I was going to offer him a handshake to seal the deal, but he pretty much closed that door forever. I just walked away.

 

Well I ain't fair in well with the drunk cowboys either. They got 21 head now penned out of a 59 head load. Seems they is averaging 1 per hour

 

Good luck with the new job. Sounding more and more like you made the right choice.
