I have an 06 FL Century that was not getting warm air in the cabin. I finally figured out that the lever that operates the blend door is broken. Does anyone know specifically how to change blend door? Then the new levers will need to be timed if anyone has done this before. Thanks for any info.

I have never done it before, but I’ve seen many Freightliner parts breakdowns (FLD, Coronado, Columbia cabs), but not for your model... so I might not be the one to take advice from, but I’ll try anyway.

Most frghtlnr HVAC systems I’ve seen require the entire assembly to be removed from the cab so that it can be split on the bench to get to the blend doors. This would require draining coolant and Freon. Along with usually removing the dash.

Not what you wanted to hear, but maybe someone that has done it will chime in and tell me where I’m wrong!!!

Not what I wanted to hear but need to know. Looks possible to remove rear half leaving evaporator and heater core in place but can’t tell for sure. One little plastic lever is a lot of work. Trying to think how to rig it manually. Thanks for your input.
