You’d probably start out running linehaul at night but could work your way into days doing P&D if you wanted

They don’t list minimum years of experience required ,just a safe record. A couple guys at my terminal were hired just a few months out of school. As long as they passed the prehire driving test, the company was willing to bring them on.

You would need hazmat/doubles-triples/and tanker endorsements for these positions.

 

Oh please, this is 2019. We don't use mallets anymore, we beat on them with our heads.

 

Creviston but again, don't know if they will count military experience.

 

Apply to all the ltl companies one will hire you

 

Schneider should have something but you might also look into Westside Transport.

 

That's not true! Some food grade bulk driver was annoying the piss out of me by pounding on his tank just the other day. He would whack one side, then the back side, then the other side. Whack whack whack whack.

No idea what the hell you'd beat on the back of a trailer for, it's a dust collector box at best.

Was he at least unloading during this time, or was he just parked at the Pilot?
