    I see a lot of folks posting trucks for sale that say “pre-emission” truck.
    Wasn’t there actually two major emission changes, one that impacted in 2000 and one in 2008?

    I believe EGR was introduced in 2003, then also DPF in 2007.5?/2008 then also also DEF in 2010. Then less invasive tweaks in 14/15 for reduced greenhouse gas stuff.

    It was bought new as a glider and the vin number designates it as one also.

    All ours are running pre 99 motors so no elog either.
