"CounterPoint has gone silent and has not been in contact with former drivers and employees about its next steps, according to a former Falcon employee.
“This is going to take years to sort this all out,” he said."cke and jamespmack Thank this. -
"A former dispatcher, who didn’t want to be named, said before he left the company in late 2018 that if Falcon missed an on-time delivery and GM needed parts, the automaker “could charter a jet and fly the parts down from Detroit to Arlington, Texas, and stick Falcon with the bill.” Other times, he alleges that if Falcon didn’t have a driver able to make the route to Arlington, GM would hire an expediter to haul the load “at Falcon’s expense.”
PoleCrusher, cke and jamespmack Thank this. -

Come to think of it now that Laredo has been mentioned.
This Gm thing may ripple down to the carriers that run hot and heavy out of there too. -
Well, 24/6 or even 24/5 really. And I meant day runs as driver starts at the yard, go pickup and deliver to GM, then go back to the yard. Sure any time of the day or night, but still just out and back.
With it being Saturday night, most runs were done.
Heck, depending on the plant it could even be 8/5 or 16/5. For example Lansing Grand River is first and second only, while Delta Township is down to a single shift.cke, Tug Toy, jamespmack and 1 other person Thank this. -
