Boeing 737 goes in river

Plane was an older 737-800 model,manufactured in 2001.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s declared a write off due to the water immersion,never mind the engines being torn off when it went into the St. John’s River. A few of the passengers checked in pets (dogs and cats)into the cargo hold underneath the passenger cabin which means they’re all presumed dead.

 

the airplane is junk now. it will be cut.

 

Just what boeing needed another failure.. Man what is going on

 

The older Boeing 737 models(100 thru 900) don’t have the MCAS system that the MAX models are equipped with. This was a 800 series model that was 18 years old so as such I’m sure FAA and NTSB are looking at this as a either a mechanical failure or possibly pilot error or a combination of the two.
It’s eerily similar to an accident I remember when I worked at American.

have you seen Russian aircraft accident today? Russian authorities say 41 passengers was burned alive. It was lately developed SSJ-100 aircraft.

 

Now that’s another airplane with a checkered history. From the start the Sukhoi Superjet has had issues with operations,in particular with tech support,not enough spare parts!
