I currently drive a pete 579 we had are speed moved to 65mph on the pedal and 68mph on cruise control. I set my cruise to 68 my gauge says im doing 65 it wont climb any higher can someone help me

They did it wrong I think they try to set it to cruise 65 and 68 on pedal to pass. A truck I bought was set the same and my driver complained so I had to plug it in and change it

Ours are set at 66 pedal and 68 cruise. I guess that’s their way of telling us to use cruise control whenever possible.

When it comes to fuel economy, the truck could always drive itself better than I can, but I wear heavy shoes.

That’s a great way to get drivers to use the cruise control in traffic and bad weather so they get the extra few miles per hour.
Plus constantly tapping that accel button turns your finger into a bloody mess.
