The downs are you'll have to go over your settlement sheet with a fine tooth comb every week to find the 40 or 50 bucks they didn't pay, assuming (usually correctly no doubt) that the driver was too dumb to notice.
The downs are...you better like their hold music. You are caller 22 in line.
Safety nagging greatly increased from when I joined in 2014 to when I left in 2017, but you'll probably get that anywhere nowadays. ''Alerts'' triggered by going 1 mile over the speed limit, or by having a vehicle within 100 yards of your front end, etc. etc. etc. .... and then your dispatcher spends the next hour watching your feed through the camera, listening to any curse words or insults you might utter through the microphone, etc instead of actually dispatching.
So be slow, timid and politically correct out there.

 

Sounds like you're describing Total except you forgot to add sending macros for everything including getting a green light at a weigh station and get use to waiting for wreckers and switches..

Glad I had the option to work somewhere else..
