Boys in the bay next to me just fired up a new engine in an old pipe layer. Man does that old girl sound mean!

I’m running a Firestone FD663, they’ve been decent. I’ve been running them since I can’t get my old reliable 711’s. The new truck I speced Bridgestone 799’s, they look similar to the old 711’s so we’ll see.

If you aren't running in and out of the field a lot look at the bridgestone m710. Ater running two full sets of them my experience is they are just as good as the Michelin and about 50 bucks a tire cheaper. Still #### pricey tho.
If you are dragging that hopper into a lot of muddy fields tho i don't think they got the traction for that but good enough for most the sloppy jobsites i go into.blairandgretchen, cke, PoleCrusher and 11 others Thank this. -
Shoot we stay high and dry these days. If I do come off the farm I want good smooth field roads. I think too much of my ol heap to beat on it anymore.
What does get my tires more than anything is those rail dumps at some places we go. Some are no problem others the track switch is piss pore or you have to get across the track before they got it smooth to get your wagon straight through the door. Here lately I been making note of the bad situations and crossing them off my list -
Read this one in the Hitchhiker thread. It was cleaned up by the mods.

Its hard for me to say this but the M710 will actually wear longer than the michelin. But you wont find a Bridgestone steer to compete with Michelin.SAR, cke, PoleCrusher and 8 others Thank this. -
I agree with both statements. The m710 had lasted longer than the Michelin i used to run. Impressed me so much i figured I'd give the 283 a try. I won't say they are a bad tire, but i won't buy another set.cke, PoleCrusher, MagnumaMoose and 10 others Thank this.
