I gotta scratch that hood itch it seems...

I ain’t gonna sell myself short though. But seeing as it’s gonna be tough to remotely get something specced the way I want at SPD, without putting in ten years driving an econobox, I’m looking...

 

I love a hood as much as the next hood loving individual who loves hoods.

I wouldn't get bent over a rail on a LOLPurchase just to have one. That said, I wouldn't get bent over a rail to drive an econobox either.

 

Went for a ride down by the roundhouse. They're pulling out tomorrow morning at 8:00.

Planning on watching it leave town. I'm going to have our niece go with me. She'll learn more by watching history roll down the track than she would in that first hour of school anyway.

I didn't look too closely at it. Not much time for standing around on the job. Based on the physical size of the engine I'd guess its in the 18L range?

They sure don't make those things like they used to. That's an incredible locomotive.
