Millis OTR journal

I guess we have lost our contract at West Rock in Stevenson, AL. Dropped a load in Cvillr, hooked up to an mt. When I finally heard from dispatch, they told me to drop the mt and go to Stevenson and pick up one there. So I did. There were only 3 Millis trailers left in the yard, and I passed another bobtail coming in presumably to so the same thing as I was coming out.

There's a whole ####load it Firstfleet trailers there now.

Well I guess it depends on if we just lost this one mill or all of WestRock. What sucks is this is the only WestRock place I've been to that was a good experience. You know what happens when trucking companies lose big customers. Falcon Transport is what happens.

 

I don’t know anything about anything but Millis trailers have to be somewhere, i can never find empty ones at any of the terminals. And to top it off I probably got this god forsaken Rochester load because in my empty hunt in La Crosse I couldn’t find a single one, every trailer there was loaded and sealed.

 

Oh and @keen98 this place is a zoo today. Trucks lined up and down all the roads. Idiots are not dropping their trailers they are staying attached in the docks!!

 

I would call NAB dispatch and let them know. There's no way I would try to back into one of those godforsaken docks with tractors in there.

 

We dont have anywhere near the affiliation with Westrock as Falcon did with the Auto industry.

 

If someone stays attached and you need into dock near them call that number and tell them in the office. Fn morons

 

And the only way Millis becomes a Falcon is if we'd lose all our beer loads. Hell I cant tell you last time I've even hauled a Westrock/RockTenn load. And only have a handfull of times in my 2yrs back here. #### those paper roll loads they suck

 

Well the Saga continues. I cheated but I got it in there. Memphis here I come. Looks like I’m on the brew tour. A little more exciting than the poo tour and Cherokee.
