Illinois CDL test facility recommendations

West Chicago was easy,For The pretrip they will choose 1 area of the truck and ask a few questions about it. They are pretty picky on the air brake tests, use the correct words, Don't roll over any curbs and no shifting over rr tracks
Pretty sure that 160hr is from the insurance companies.
But your in Chicago, you speak Polish, So I'm sure theres a 1099 co. just waiting to get you to lease a white Volvo

You need to perfectly memorize the list of things to POINT and SAY.

For example "tell me about tires"

"same size same kind"
"nothing stuck between tires"
"no sidewall damage"
"proper tire pressure -- use mallet or gauge no kicking"
"tread depth 4/32 front, 2/32 rear"
"no tread showing through"
"no uneven wear"

And POINT as you SAY so as the examiner knows that you understand what you are talking about.

I don't know anyone who is in facility who is a gentleman but If you want to crack the Illinois driving test in first attempt, you should do some good study preparation before test. Driving tests are always mind boggling due to road signs so need to take it seriously. Few years ago, I also applied for test and found some Illinois permit test q&A that might be helpful to you.

 

Always go to West Chicago. The lines are shorter and people are way more pleasant to deal with.
