Welcome to trucking OP. It never really gets any better, your tolerance for insane levels of BS is what changes.

First off your trainer will need to stop to pay and get fuel. If your quick and know what you want great.
Second, did he say what will happen when the both of you stnk from lack of showering? A person has the right to bathe.
Yet if you feel there is a issue with your ability to manage being with the trainer. The company should have informed you that you have the right to find a different trainer. I suggest you do it before the present trainer tosses you off the truck for expecting tto be treated like a human. After my stint wiht CR England I found it wasnt wrong to refuse a pushy trainer. Yet if you get too picky, the company may tell you to get offf the truck. and goodbyedarinmac38 Thanks this. -
Im going to suck it up and get through it. It's just a bit insulting when some trainers think because you're new, you're dumb and naive. It's like I want to tell him, do you really think I can't figure out that sleeping on the top bunk is BS? And eight weeks driving the graveyard shift is not training. Sorry, that is simply padding someone's miles. Do I need more time and to see more situations before going out on my own? You bet, but I'll still need it, if I get 6 more weeks of this. But you know what? I've always been the one to figure it out on my own.
The qualcom system is what everyone told me would take the longest to perfect. He's shown me 3 minutes of stuff on it in ten days. Why? Because he's sleeping when I'm driving, all but the first few hours. -
So ya wanna be a truck driver huh?

So, how’s your driving, backing, trip planning and customer service skills coming, hand? Are you comfortable behind the controls? Are you able to problem solve? If so, keep up the good work. You are doing better than average.
TravR1 and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this. -

One rule for example, set in stone: No one in top bunk when vehicle is moving. Its worth your life.darinmac38 Thanks this. -
Eh, you're just as dead in the bottom bunk. The cabinets will still break your neck.
But agree, basic problem is trainer is driving, instead of sitting in the passenger seat, on duty.Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
Lol. Ask for another trainer or go somewhere else. Don't listen to the people in here. No one has the right to take away your basic living conditions.
