I used to take loads out of the one in Fayetteville. I consider them pretty hard cases, show up with a truck and trailer and from the way they act, it's almost like I am a street beggar and a liability to bother them.
They did not mistreat me but could not be bothered even if our account there was pretty big.
The trailer would vanish and wait most of the day to get loaded. God knows I walked many blocks around there exploring the town.
Stranded Anyone know anything that can help?

There's another possibility that was over looked. Maybe his pregnant wife isn't authorized by TA to be on the truck with him. They found out somehow; and decided to just go ahead and cancel the contract.
That's the gotcha on these lease programs. The company doesn't need a reason to cancel the contract and there's nothing you can do about it. They don't even have to tell you the reason if they don't want to.Aamcotrans, Dale thompson, 88 Alpha and 6 others Thank this. -
I wonder if it is in the contract or not.
This is not a game. The gotchas must stop. Or someone assumes liability for that wife.
Insurance in the form of Civil Insurance is so easy to add to your home and car. Get about a million in coverage for personal defense against suits of civil nature. IF I tripped over the coffee pot visiting my bank and accidentally scalded three kids who are shipped to trauma here, it's going to get expensive in a hurry before the parents get angry and hire a lawyer to come after me.tank4life and Intothesunset Thank this. -
Intothesunset and bzinger Thank this.

I think when he says one leasing, he means the company that does the leases is “One Leasing”. And they’re trying to just secure their equipment...
EzekelRAGE, Dave_in_AZ, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
There are OTR companies in MIzzou. Try to hire on with one for a free ride home. I think Prime has free lodging at least. Make a great application story to a recruiter Monday.
And stay away from lease-purchase, if you'd read more posts on here you wouldn't be stranded.Last edited: May 11, 2019
