Prime isn't the best option for someone with a checkered past (fired from a lease op job). Their hiring process is fairly involved.Lonesome Thanks this.

If you can find a local (Salvation Army) or (St Vincent DePaul) see if they can help. Salvation Army in my area is usually able to help people with a meal, and a bus ride home.
COBB2070, Lonesome, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Truck Leasing Programs and Completion Incentives | ONE Leasing Inc
they are located in Olathe, KS
they are telling him to call his company trans am.....
gotta be behind in payments
now imagine if he had montly mortgage payments on that thing, if he finaced it....they'd repo it in a heartbeat.
refusing that load, could have been what casued all his problems, as he must already be in a hole...and he's not willing to pay his bills.
at least take the load and get as far as you can?x1Heavy Thanks this. -
OP...were you behind in your payments? Maxed out on trip advances?
Did you pull freight for another company than the one you're leasing to?
The thing I don't understand is that a trucking company will do almost anything to avoid a long distance tow and repo-ing a truck out on the road is always a last resort.
They were desperate to get their truck back and they wanted you out of it immediately but none of us understand exactly why.Gearjammin' Penguin, Lonesome, Western flyer and 5 others Thank this. -
Check Olathe Craigslist look for any small trucking company who is looking to hire someone immediately. I don’t care if it’s a bottom feeding jackleg. You’re in survival mode right now and you can be selective later. Answer the ad. Tell him you’ve got a class CDL and can start immediately. Take the drug test at the local LabCorp and be ready to start. It may not be what you want but at least you’ll have a roof over your head and transportation home. You can work something out later with the owner. You may even like the job. You gotta be Jason Bourne out there, you and your girl are out there, think outside the box. Good luck to you

See, the problem is that the lease payments are taken out of any settlements that the company gives you.
And the company controls what freight you haul.
If the rate on the freight isn't enough to cover the lease payments, fuel costs, food and basic living expenses, then why should the driver accept the load?
Never lease a truck from the same company that controls your income. They have a vested interest in your failure.Majestic 670, Metallica88, Lepton1 and 2 others Thank this. -
I actually forgotten the maxed out advances. I do not borrow money late in my trucking days, that is one thing company drivers sometimes got fired for. Companies are trucking companies not banks. Thank you REO6205.
Im still clueless as to the situation presented by the OP. Without information, there is nothing except questions. -
The one in searcy has a collection of clothing for all sizes and seasons available on a voucher if provided one. Among other possibilities. You might have to shake the dirt out of them or wash at a coinop...
