$1 a minute to talk, but monthly service was only $9.99. Dispatch still had 800 numbers, and you used walmart cards to call home. ETA: I remember being reimbursed for minutes when dispatch had to call me and I was in roaming. Can you imagine that today?

 

I was with ya right up until Walmart.....

We drove "into the city" to go to a Apple store today, and I was actually relieved to get back here to hicksville. Still love to hate walmart, but at least it's the evil I know lol.
