On my '00 379, I lost auto on fan when I cleaned all fuses at kick panel, didn't fill in couple marked spare, was 3 or 7? Pete uses spare circuits for some things and it isn't marked on list, N 14. Just checked it was spare 3 for N-14, ac and manual worked without but wouldn't come on auto .

Yes, they were. I didn't use it unless I really needed to.

Hope Doc gets to feeling better.

I remember payin $60 for 60 minutes a month. Plus some kind of fees on top of that.

I was haulin rock back in them days. Mostly building oilfield locations. Might spend several days makin short little circles out in the middle of nowhere and never get close to any place with a phone. Otherwise I wouldn’t have paid for one.

@Lilbow you and your dad @Oxbow have done a bang-up job for sure. You both oughtta be real proud.

The little Knick-knack problems are to be expected, and we know you’ll get em worked out. That’s a good lookin rig by anyone’s account.

Never had a bagphone or a phone with roaming but know people who did. I had zero interest in having one. I remember on harvest I bought prepaid phone cards and called home from the truckstop. I do remember paying around $60ish a month for 60 minutes, and I can remember when free nights and weekends came out that was HUGE. Amazing how it’s changed.

The good news is, if you are emulating your father your going to be just fine in life.

The bad news is, if your emulating your father you apparently have a lot of work to look forward too, lol.

It's nice to see you guys enjoying this together and also, thank you @Oxbow for including us in this particular project, it's been fun watching it become reality.

My first phone was some prepaid T-Mobile contraption that I basically paid 10 cents per minute or per text message for. Their coverage then absolutely sucked and it wouldn’t work anywhere that resembled “boondocks”.
