Google "Newt Livestay Meat Eater"

Google "Newt Livestay Carry Stick"

There's potential there. -
Oddly, most all the Newt Livesay sites won't load. I see posts about his products (including one from the UK where he didn't send product or reply) but haven't seen the stick yet.
I looked into Kopposticks earlier in this thread, and were I a lawdog, I'd see it as nothing but a weapon. It could be trouble from that perspective, if they were looking to bug you. -
I meant to answer this earlier: for one, fat guys are a lot harder to hurt than a thinner one, not that the big boyz dont have the same feelings. Also having weight to their advantage, it can be used offensively too.
As for worrying about retaliation, I think that disabling a perp takes care of the immediate, and being a trucker takes care of all else, unless it's happening in your 'hood.
One thing I've noticed about big guys is that they're usually fairly strong, having to "lift weights" all day, and tend to have VERY strong legs. -
Newt was a knifemaker of some repute, but appears to have dropped off the radar for some reason. I'm not sure why he's not producing these days. The links I had posted earlier were in violation of this site's policy regarding linking to other commercial sites. I found those products on the leescutlery web site...which appears to be the only place you can still get them.
Having been a lawdog, all I can say is that in MY opinion someone would have to be trying awfully hard to get jammed up with a weapons violation for having a koppostick, kubaton, Meat Eater, etc...on him. The longer ones that Newt Livestay made may attract more attention, but the shorter ones that were shown in that article I posted a link to (kubaton length) would attract much less attention. But in the end anything that you carry/conceal on your person could be considered a weapon and that possibility needs to be weighed in your decision. -
I think the kubotan is legal because a.) it's short b.) it's not concealed and c.) it can be replicated with just about any object near it's shape (hairbrush, tool, etc)
My living couple decades ago in Va. had us measuring knives and anything else you'd carry around. Length there was the difference, so that colors my imagination to think it may still be the issue wherever. -
Not this fat boy, very low tolerance for pain;
I have to take Tylenol just to make a dentist appointment. LOL -
I'm a non-ballistic weapon. Just ask those that have done something to tick me off.

Ya never know who you're messin' with, huh?
