Just wanting an update and see if things have picked up? I'm wanting a change of scenery and I thought about hauling crude for a while. I have experience in crude and I'm looking at Rocky Mountain Crude or Ally Energy. Any updates would be appreciated.
How's the work in West Tx today for Crude?

Picked up a lot for my company in the last few weeks here in Carlsbad. Did 2500 last week and will break 3000 this week.

I've seen a lot of companies coming in and undercutting each other for work. The long hauls that use to be very lucrative have gone down the toilet, so I would avoid most all of them. There was a run I was doing last year for $1750 that drivers are now doing for $650. Just insane!

That just looks to be an awfully tough way to scratch out a living to me.

I just think for the overall living conditions as well, I'd need to double what I make now.
Last time I went through there was pretty neat though. I mean it had to be like the gold rush or other form of boom. You could just feel it.
But the living conditions seemed more than a bit rough.
And the interstate seems to be going to hell in a hurry.
Everyone is in a big hurry too. Not a whole lot of courtesy.austinmike Thanks this.
