Foreign "Students" Displacing Canadian Truck Drivers

I can't even find a good trucking job but all the Indian students I know have decent driving jobs. Reason why? Indian trucking company owners like to exploit these students for low pay. AC transport pays student AZ drivers $15 an hour on cash payments. In return they will help them get their PR.

 

Just read that online. He was arrested by OPP and is facing deportation because he was here on a student visa but working double the amount of hours the student visa allows. I can sympathize with needing to work to pay for schooling/cost of living but go about it the proper way.

 

There was the same thing here in US in IL and WA. You were able to get CDL even without legal residence, as long as you had a SSN. They cracked down on it only in 2017

 

If he’s so hard up, how did he afford his licence?

 

I guess slave labor still exists? Or perhaps indentured servitude?

 

People Express, Lightspeed and Syndicate are notorious for this. What’s finally putting an end to them? Insurance.

The politicians and bureaucrats who enact and carry out such policies are engaging in treason at their employers, their fellow citizens' expense, and should be publicly and painfully executed.

 

They borrow money from back home. Obviously that money has to be repaid some how. Their parents borrow money from family/friends.
