Yeah it’s a big conspiracy! I caught a glimpse of their secret meeting the other day! And I took pictures. I’ve almost cracked the secret handshake. upload_2019-5-13_18-19-58.jpeg

No disrespect, but not only is there no reason to do that, brokerages are just as cutthroat as carriers and would undercut each other as much as possible. TQL tries this all the time with our customers, with some success. Brokerages have more time and resources to commit to researching market pricing, and if you have ANY proof of price fixing you should report that to...well I can't remember and wont bother to look up the agency but that's a crime.

Sorry man but this just seems like giving yourself the ok to lose and be the victim. I sure as heck don’t know of any of this going on. Brokers don’t give 2 craps about other brokers.other then what we they can do to steal their freight. What your talking about is if there was a monopoly. Just like truckers won’t stick together you think brokers are any different?

If they charged 80 percent you would still
Have drivers on here who think they
    Deserve every penny of it.
    It’s insane.

It’s like thanking someone who stole
A 1000 bucks from you that your happy
    You left them 500.

Brokers have no reason to be
    In the supply chain.

But if the customer isn't yours then whatever the broker is making isn't really the issue. That $1000 (in your example) doesn't "belong" to the carrier so can't be stolen, and shipper's aren't unaware of market rate changes so that kind of margin is incredibly unlikely. On a totally separate note, did you mean to make your sentence structure so poetic? It's actually pretty good as a poem. Very Langston Hughes.

If you are talking about one broker business or small broker company, yea . I may agreed with you .
I’m talking about big, mega broker businesses.
The big guys get together. You know , dinners , golf , clubs and , do you think they get together to talk about their personal lives ?

Nope. You are wrong with your assessment. I’m 100% independent and I will not move my equipment for the crap you do or you pay , I do t know who you are .
The 1st quarter I run, barely, 15,000 miles .what that tells you ? and I have 2 year old equipment, almost paid for it .

Great movie! But yeah, otherwise it's just speculation.
