My grandfather, while farming, use to wear long sleeve flannel shirts and overalls in the summer and in Oklahoma if you don't know it's like Guam here in the summer. He said when the wind blew it would cool him off by cooling the sweat.

If I could, I'd ask him today how that works when there isn't a lick of wind or breeze anywhere, for days, lol.

Yessir. We used to eat at Village Inn but the one on State Street closed so now our go-to breakfast place is Dee's on Redwood Rd.

Got the steering box core returned to Kenworth, picked up a compressor for our friend and picked up the new air compressor for my engine. Only got half the core charge back due to a broken mounting ear.

I have heard this in my life. But most the places that require all that “gobbled de gook” won’t even let you use the restroom or have a place to wash your hands. So I’m thinking it’s not for my well being?

Like I said if that’s what the job requires then I got it on. I even have a set of FR coveralls if I need them.

Just don’t understand what difference long pants and long sleeves matter when I throwing straps ( never the hook ) over a stack of lumber or roofing shingles?
