Oil filter?

Don’t have an ops system or anything like that.

I installed fumoto drain valve. Very convenient to change the oil or take for sample if needed.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Vampire tube down the dipstick hole, oil topped off, and taken at the end of the day.
Dave_in_AZ, flood, chewey3 and 1 other person Thank this. -
A valve is best but a tube down the dipstick will work. Use petroleum resistant tubing and throw it away afterwards to prevent cross contamination. Make sure engine is warmed up.

Screw the drain plug out to the last thread and hold a cup underneath it.
JkJoeyJunk Thanks this. -
DD15 has a special place for taking oil sample. It's on oil coolant module.

The tube method they speak of is just like playing with your straw in your soda when you were a kid. (Just in case you didn't already know.)
Phumac Thanks this.
