Difference between Volvo D13A and D13H?

How would they know before they start working on it? If you go in for an air compressor that doesn't require any ECM tinkering

 

that would be the reason for the sign..... if you don't tell them and it gets into the shop and they find it (you know that dealers almost always check the ecm of updates) you will not get it back until all of it is hooked back up and working..... on your dime

 

Not true. They CAN NOT do work without your permission, nor can they hold your truck hostage.

Bout all they can do once they find out is stop working on it and tell you to have it towed out.
