I have to get an electric water heater since the flue vent on a gas one would need to go up through my roof. Unless I paid 1,100 for a high effiency LP heater that we could vent through the wall.
    These are my electric choices
    A 30 gallon is $440
    A 50 gallon is $400
    A 40 gallon is $450
I almost asked him to price a 100 gallon heater
(And no I don’t want a tankless heater)

Why not tankless? They work real well. Yes, they cost a bit more going in, the savings makes up for it quickly.

This is what you can get at Wal-Mart in normal states.

They cost more, it’s just me so I don’t need an endless supply of hot water.
And when it breaks it takes days to diagnose and order the part. Days without hot water.

So. Let me understand this correctly. In a climate of drought, due to climate change, brought on by global warming, you're just running water, purified water, that took electricity and chemicals to purify and pump, onto the ground in large quantities?
