I'm not emotional. But I'm also mature enough to understand people's experiences and opinions of a company are subjective. If you took 10 drivers or even 10 employees at any job some will be happy and some wont. I know people who hate Roehl simply because of the freight lanes, others might hate the truck model, etc. What's important to one person may not be to another but I am also not going to come on the internet and bash a company that has treated me good. I never sit for a load, my FM is awesome, generally if I ask to get a load somewhere its accommodated, if I need routing changed I have no issues getting it changed, I dont get micromanaged. In fact I rarely talk to my FM. I'm sure some do get micromanaged but how many loads are late, how many camera events have they had, etc?

Not here to bash . Yes others clearly are.
I personally have no hate for this company.
But no love either do to personal experiences.
But that's what makes it a job.
With that said you're correct with this with this statement.
But with that said. We shouldn't be feeding people misconceptions about the company that are not in fine print.
    That's all I'm getting at.
Also I understand you were probably not aware of some things such as the *15 months*. Now that detail doesn't bother me personally. But many would find it to be a slap in the face once they found out.

I personally read my contract. I cant speak for what others sign but I never sign anything until I read what I'm signing.

And common sense should tell you never sign a contract until you read it. Happened to a guy in our class who later got fired. He didnt read it and was shocked that they actually wanted their money. I personally had no sympathy for him but again not everyone is going to go to any company and like it. I know a guy at Swift that loves Swift. He is happy and they treat him good. Others go there and may hate it.

Apparently you don't or you for what ever reason are spreading misinformation
Lol...you make it so cut dry and simple.
You clearly didn't read the contract or are on here to spread disinformation. Which miscommunication , complete lack of communication and lies is a huge part of roehl.
The attrition rate is over 90% within a year.
    For good reason.

With that said. Anybody considering flatbed. Join TMC. Flatbed IS there speciality. Every TMC driver ive met had nothing bad to say about there company and had good training.
If I had to do it all over again Id go TMC

I keep reading some comments here about how Roehl sucks and to me: It does.
Out of Georgia, I started last year and also quit last year as all my classmates, we all passed the CDL test in Chattanooga (stupid to wake up and go there), my training started out of St Louis and I’ll never spending 19 days with someone in a vehicle again. All my friend classmates, 4 of us, eventually quit. The trucks were crappy, ELogs kept freezing and I ended up going through 5 FMs who had no idea what they were doing. I once sat at Marshfield doing 34hr and 2 extra days as they had no loads to the southeast (they did, they just said “we are arranging new loads for you”).
Pay sucked, 6 months was all I was able to take it up with them. I’m at a different company doing awesomely.
Oh, no privacy because of inside cameras? They probably want to make some porn out of this.

That's funny because I have never once sat for a load, I ALWAYS get home on the day I request, I just got a 10 cent raise, and have never had one issue. Let me ask you honest question dis you actually come to the company with the intent of actually trying to figure things out probably not? And you thought they were going to just give you a truck without going on the road at all? I'm glad your happy but just be ause you had a bad experience doesnt mean everyone else does. If that was the case we wouldn't have tons of lease ops and million milers.

Than stop whining and go to TMC. Again I read my contract and also did a thing called negotiating. You ever hear of it? Did you ever think to ask for a higher pay rate or different terms to your contract? A contract works both ways.

Yeah you're full of sh$!. But that's cool.
Doing my time I agreed to then moving on to bigger better things.
You can't be that awesome if you can't do better then Roehl.

    Gordo 13 Thanks this.
