I read the whole 9 pages. recently another o/o had his volvo, a 2015 in and the techs replaced the injectors. Which I thought was not the issue, but he wasn't going to argue. The issue's with the truck were no parked regen and only a sporadic passive regen. Lack of power sometimes and the truck would go into derate and then it would clear. You had said you had cleaned and replaced the DPF filter and had the SCR checked. you also said that you had crystalization in the DOC. Did you have any by the Doser valve. The doser valve sprays def fluid to help capture soot and the 7th injector sprays fuel behind the turbo to heat. Could you have a faulty doser valve or insufficient def fluid going to the doser valve. If you had soot build up when the truck was running but then it would go down. My thought on it, the others here have far more knowledge than I have on this. But in all the replies I haven't seen anything about the doser valve which is supposed to be replaced yearly.

    Good luck

The doser valve was replaced in feb. when I replaced the bellows tube. Thanks for the insight though!

I cant for the life of me figure out how I am getting DPF pressures like I am. Something is causing a backpressure issue in the DPF. I have removed the pressure lines, completely cleaned them, verified no leaks on them. It is causing my soot level on the gauge to increase faster than it can regen it. Parked and forced regens complete with zero issues.

You might have a bad wire between that sensor and ACM. Now with a new egr valve after regeneration does your soot level goes to zero or still at 10% or higher?? Recently had 3 codes one was for egr cooler mechanical failure other 2 was for egr temperature sensor incorrect reading, was reading almost the same temp like an exhaust but intake temperature would be showing normal. By wiggling the connector and a wires for that sensor reading come back to normal. I will need to replace engine harness soon. Egr cooler and a temp sensor are 6 months old.

soot level went to 11% after my last regen hooked to ptt. DPF pressure was at .44 for first part of regen, then went down to .29 and finished at .17. Does anyone have the pin layout and numbers of the 3 DPF wires at the ACM so I can check them?

just took some voltage measurements for ####s and giggles.

DPF pressure voltage while truck running at the sensor with Bellows to SCR disconnected was .610
DPF pressure voltage with Bellows connected is .615

not sure what the voltage range should be. would like to check at the acm to see if voltage is the same but dont know the pins to check.

With a sensor mounted pins are numbered from top to bottom 1 2 3.
    1 Supply wire 5V
    2 Ground wire
    3 Signal wire.

    rhitrucking Thanks this.

yes, but what about the ACM side? what 3 pins are the pressure sensor on the ACM? I verified 4.9 volts at the supply and the signal was .615v. would like to verify signal voltage at the acm. also getting some strange ohm readings by touching 1 to 2 and 2 to 3.

well thats easier said than done. not sure how I can even check the voltage there let alone finding the right pin. dont see them labeled anywhere
