Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

Had a picked up my load early Monday morning dropped in Oklahoma got this morning heading to northern Minnesota

 

Getting ready to drop this load tonight hopefully get some longer miles hopefully go out to Denver or somewhere to the south east

 

Latest driver death notice on peoplenet .. brings total to 5 ...in the last 14 days... that includes the one driver who committed suicide

 

Yea I’m. Deleting them that’s terrible I see it on my people net and delete them

 

It used to be,you would get a load out,and back,because you needed to get home to be paid and pay bills,and spend a day or two at the house.
Now with everything done electronically,they can keep you out on the road a lot longer.Between the stress,diet,lack of exercise,it’s no wonder.
I myself try to eat good out on the road,and exercise.The stress thing is beyond my control.

 

I must be weird. I'm never stressed. I can either get it done or I can't, I just communicate and do what I can do. I don't let stupid traffic, or anything stress me. But, like I said, I'm probably not normal

 

Jeffrey Dahmer wasn’t stressed or normal either.

 

I’m forced onto more runs now very frustrating even if i can’t make it on time I told the consignee that I was going to be late too they were mad when I showed up

 

Dropped my load yesterday late afternoon got a load at the same place going to Alabama load is due Sunday night I asked for freight to the mountain west no dice these hopefully get atleast 2400 miles paid but I doubt that’s going to happen hopefully get home for a reset this next Friday or get out to Pittsburgh to see the dodgers and pirates series is there any truck parking close to PNC park

 

I put out a request for the same info 12 months ago when I was up there a lot. Pittsburgh is a tough city to crack. I got 6-7 suggestions but only one looked like it would work. It’s 6 miles from downtown so you’ll have to take an Uber to get to the ballpark.
