Lolololol every time I go back to this comment I laugh some more.
My first 3 or 4 loads out of there were preloaded. I wonder how much luck I had to burn for that to happen. -
Man, Lexington Whse did me right today. Appt at 1100 to unload and reload at 1300. Got in there at 0600 and checked in. Thought I was gonna take a nap but noooo, 0800 got the call, dock fn 82. Lolz,,,, another Millis driver bob tailed in back of me to pick up his load, helped me back in watching that front right fender. Thanks hand.
Loaded and outa there by 1200.
The only thing that bothers me is I don’t deliver to LaCrosse till Monday morning. I’m pretty sure I can deliver it as soon as I can get there but there probably won’t be anything out till Monday morning. Any advice you guys?Suspect Zero Thanks this. -
Eating up time, I found a nice little place to do your 10 if you’re coming out of Rochester and short on hours. Exit 1 on 490, just before you get to the toll plaza. 490 Truck Stop. It’s nothing more than a couple of fuel pumps, a very clean C-store and clean crapper. Room for 20 trucks I’d guess but me and a dude from Toronto are the only ones here. No scales, I’ll run over to Pembroke in the morning to axle though I’ve only 43k on.
Very very quiet here. Got all my windows open, jammin’ to some Allman Bros and working on a new C app I hope to sell one day. Life is good, enjoy the slow times.Suspect Zero and MIT Thank this. -
You might get lucky in La Cross it always seems they have loaded trailers just waiting.
-
So yesterday afternoon I asked if they wanted me to drop my trailer in Trenton yard or be at delivery at appt time. The answer I got was Yes. Lol
-
I saw that place come up on the GPS points of interest but never got around to looking at it on Google to see if it was legit or not. Thanks for the info. But please take that nasty IT talk somewhere else. You might trigger me, Sir.

I am spending the night at the Brookville, PA TA. Needless to say it's not as quiet here. This is the first time I've been in this one. I've stayed at the J across the street a couple of times but I decided to try this place tonight. It's a pretty decent TA.Last edited: May 17, 2019
Farmer54 Thanks this. -
Driver's choice..... my favorite.
-
Honestly I always liked going there. Only once when I was there did I ever have to hit a dock, and that time they had me loaded and out in an hour.
Normally I would go punch my info into the computer no matter if it was suppose to be a live load or not to see if it popped out a pre-loaded trailer. If it did I found the yard driver, asked him where he wanted me to drop the empty, then printed out my paperwork and beat feet.
But I seem to be the only one who had that kind of luck there. -
You wont know unless you get to LaCrosse asap and see if they have something. If they tell you they have nothing there are some kick ### bars in LaCrosse and a cajun place called Buzzard Billys that is fn awesome. Lot worse places you could be stuck at.IH Truck Guy, Farmer54 and Suspect Zero Thank this.
