My international pro star 2011 asked for a regen. I drive mainly highways. I regened fully for over an hour 3 times today and the light won’t turn off. Also I’ve had an upside down yellow triangle on for a couple of weeks but was told that it goes on all the time. Any thoughts?! Please help

Definatly something wrong with the dpf.. Probably needs changed out/cleaned.. I got the same problem in my cascadia, need my dpf changed out , threw check engine and emissions codes at me right after i left the house...i would take urs to the shop asap.. A regen 3 times a day is not normal at all

I bought her just a few weeks ago and this is the first time she asks for that. I did it just in case but the light never shut off. It would regen though. How much will that run me do you think?

A cleaning will cost anywhere from $500 -$1500. If it needs to be changed i have heard of guys paying 10k+ to get a new dpf... I would get a second opinion , im not a mechanic by any means , there alot more guys on here that know more about it then me but i would guess it just needs to be cleaned out

Thankyou for the reply! I’ll take her to the shot first thing in the morningD.Tibbitt Thanks this.

what is the code showing for the light...??

Maxxforce engine huh...
You should have really done better research before making that purchase because that truck/engine is going to bankrupt you. Yes, Im serious. If the truck is needing multiple regens a day, your dpf is clogged and no amount of regens will fix it. An International dealer will charge you approx $3000-5000 to replace the filter and components. Then the new components will fail and you'll be stuck again.86scotty, Flat Earth Trucker and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
could be lucky and just be the injector.....

If you're in Texas, DON'T take your truck to SanTex in San Antonio. Horrible customer service. I spent eight days waiting for an oil leak fix.

Call before taking in. Not everyone has a cleaning machine.
The FL dealer in Vegas sends them out to be cleaned while the FL dealer in Salt Lake has a machine. Vegas was a 4 day repair while Salt Lake can do it in 1 day.
Granted you're talking about a International.
The 09 T660 I think it was. Cost $4500 when it got a new filter.
