Just curious to know if work is slow for y'all? All my OTR buddies are complaining that work is slow right now.

Challenger seems to be pretty slow right now too, almost every driver I talk to is pissed off.

Just wondering what it's like out there for o/o and company drivers.

    #### 3500 miles in one week? I only hit that once in like 6 months haha. I'm guessing flatbed pays better than van so you don't gotta run as much miles?

I've only gotten 1100 miles the last 4 days which is really not worth living on the road for. Will do 1200 the next 3 days only brings me to 2300 miles for 7 days.

The 4 weeks previous was getting 2700-3200 miles a week.

Agree about super B hopper. It's fertilizer season . They want us to work eight days a week. But I'm running out of hours in six or less.

That summed it up pretty good. Always good information that comes outta you. Looks like I better not expect much over the next coming months then. I remember last year it was super busy at this time for Canada/USA.

Yeah i was running illinois/indiana then down the texas and back up for 2 weeks straight, guess freight was paying good with all the bad weather in them areas. Idk if flatbed pays more, id rather be getting paid percentage than mileage since flatbed is alot of work outside of the truck ..i dont really like running alot of miles , but if the frieght is there and i got the hours , i aint afraid to run like a horse... Im back on the west coast now where i belong, pulling lumber down to cali and back up to oregon , up n down for awhile, is my prefered route.... I seen u on the forums quite a bit seems like u frustrated with ur company , and u seem like a real good mature person why not try out flatbed.idk ur location but there is a company my ex gf was trying to get me to come move to canada she found me a job with searcy trucking , they pull flatbed and rgn and everything inbetween. They pull mostly ag equipment down to the midwest i believe ,They are in winnipeg manitoba and i think they do training. Being young like u are , flatbed is rewarding and a different type of truckin than just the rat race pullin a box..its a little bit more work but nothin u cant handle, a little somethin new and change of scenery might help ya out some

It was for about 4 weeks, April into May.
Had about ten unwanted days off in that time.
It was slow April last year too but not as bad.
We only haul auto parts, engines , dunnage for same,
for one customer, so there's supposedly a seasonal component to it.
But if I wasn't about to take a loooong vacation I might be looking at help wanteds. I have no use for little three day breaks during my 6 month work sentence. Sux. I don't even like taking the 34 every week.

Ltl is down. We’re down to normal levels. Working 12 hour days is so nice. Been running our tails off with heavy tonnage. This normal workload feels wrong somehow. Lol!
