, I hope so, at 1800 miles this week so far.

 

Pretty sure you have me beat on miles this week, especially after this unplanned 34 hour reset. No complaints though, last 3 months I have been happy with every weeks miles. Guess it was just my turn.

 

I hear ya on that. Had some truck issues but nothing serious. Was In Richfield for 10 hrs. They were swamped. Then at Kenworth for 5. Also no load on Thursday, after delivering in Green Bay

 

Its not always a drop there. We do live unload rolls there.

 

It has an appt. Time. 0800. I believe it's rolls of wrappers. Coming from little rapids out of Green Bay WI

And since you mentioned I did have a live unload there once. The shipping clerk might have been having a bad day. He said to me since you are actually on time why don’t you just drop your trailer in a door and grab an empty on way out. So I did and went out to the field in front where I got dispatched to go back in and grab a load to Essity in NY.

 

God ####. People that only pay half attention to things irk me.

So I'm supposed to pick up a load from Plano going to Shelby. This is a split load that we delivered here to Plano and part of it went here and the rest goes to Shelby. I was given the trailer and BOL numbers and was told that the BOL would be in th nose box. Ok. Sounds simple enough.

So I get here . Give the guard my trailer number. He says it's not ready. So I go park over in the lot to the right of the guard shack so I can contact dispatch and lo and behold, there's my trailer. I check it and it only had 10 rolls of flooring in it but no bills. Here's the exact message I sent dispatch:

"I'm in Plano now. Security says load isn't ready. However I am parked beside 17228 and it only has 10 rolls of flooring on it which I assume is what is going to Shelby. But there's no bills in the nose or in the back."

Dispatch replies with: "Did you check the nosebox for BOL?"

Did I fkn stutter?

You know... I'm an old IT guy so I have about 20 years of experience being a condescending prick professionally. I just haven't figured out how much of that I can get away with here.
