B-1 Bombers



Just FYI for anyone that is interested and close. The Airshow is the 1st-2nd of June here at Tinker and the Blue Angels will be here.

If you come you can walk through these airplanes and see all kinds of demonstrations on the ground and in the air. Just a thought for you guys.

 

I've been using that stuff a lot this last week. Which I mention because I don't know if folks realize how low the limit is. No more than 3 tablets ( 220 mg ) per 24 hour time frame. It's way easy to go past that point if you're not keeping track of it.
I was limiting myself to Two per 24 hours.

 

If U ever have a opportunity to see the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds don't pass it up, it's a awesome Show

Depends on what part of Dirty Jersey yer leaving from ???????

78, 81, Pa Pike to 70 from central Jersey..

North Jersey I'd do 80, 76, 71......Stop at Truck World for chow if you go this way..

South Jersey grab the PA Pike and ride all the way to 70..

 

Never was one to walk away from a challenge, especially when it comes to a material object left to die.

Trying to work on this Jeep between loads and get it done. Think it last moved on its own power in 1989? The recessed Allen head bolts on the right Warn hub are beyond saving..... so I had to drill the heads off to remove it. New Warn hubs are already ordered! A labor of love in a sense. Back to NY later tonight.....

Edit: all new rotors, calipers, drums, brakes, lines, and master cylinder will be added as well....

 

Might have to squint A little bit but there's a B-52 in there. This is one of the paint hangars. They paint these, KC-135's, AWAC's, KC-10's, E-6's, and C-130's in these hangars, there are 5 of them.

 

Here's a stripped B-52. We don't do these, a different bunch does em.

 

I've never seen one up close, but they used to practice low and slow flying below the mountains along Hwy 95 from Jordan Valley Oregon down toward Winnemucca Nevada. They are BIG planes! We used to speculate that they would site in on us trucks going down the highway. Probably nothing to it, but it made for good conversation on the old CB!
