Hey guys. I have a international prostar with cummins isx 15. This last week i just noticed that within 350 miles my truck regend twice. Somepeople told me it was okay coz it depends on the roads, the weather and the load and stuff. But i got it in the shop and acc to them, there are 2 wire things coming out of the EGR which were clogged. So they cleaned that and acc to them i was good. But just today again it has regend twice within 300 miles and it has been windy and stuff and it hasnt given me a code yet. I would really appreciate some advice coz this is not making me feel good. I know trucks regen and it used to regen before also like when i was a company driver but please help me out here. Thanks

Do you idle the truck? If so; try not to. The DPF dosn't get hot enough to burn the soot when idling. It will plug things up and it won't be able to "clean" it out when you do start driving.

Just a guess, idling is a common cause of low mileage regen issues.
