So you said the bonus was half, meaning $20,000. Paid out every 60,000 miles, at the rate of $1,000.
So you would literally have to drive 1.2 million miles to get the full $20,000 bonus. They may as well not even bother. Lol

No shame in walking away. If the company don't fit, you best immediately quit. I've walked during orientation(and may have called the rest of the class fools for staying).
SilverBulletBand Thanks this. -
Covenant Transport - is one of the very BEST companies in the industry to start your
carrier - they have top equipment and top dispatch teams -
Professional people work there.
.. they - Train Professional Drivers - the company does not want losers - when they see nonsense they know it - - - - some drivers dont have what it takes to work for Covenant Transportation. then they come on here and complain. you know how it works.
Covenant Transport - is a Class operation - look for driving excellence - FIRST STOP for
the up and coming PRO DRIVER! -- YES GO THERE and learn the right way the first time.
If you want to work for one of the very BEST - go to Covenant Transport.

Yes, like bills. Hopes. Dreams of homeownership. Dreams of owning a nice car. The belief that one should be paid in exchange for their labor. Angry feelings when they see the company owner's Bentley. Sad feelings when somebody gets shot in the courtyard of their apartment complex. A child or two that they responsibly pay for. Hobbies.
You are so right. If you have any of those, you should not go to work at Covenant, because you just don't have what it TAKES.faux_maestro Thanks this. -
Why? I passed a small office with the door adjar looking to take care of lunch. As was the 30 or so of us walking by.
We heard... "I cannot stand some of the Daffy Duck drivers we get into that stupid pos classroom. God knows we want to purify their coal black hearts and save them from the Abyss. Im sick and tired of it today, especially like that DEAF driver wanna be.
I stopped short and said through the door, you might as well get that bus ticket togeter pronto. This deaf person heard you loud and clear.
I would have never been able to replicate the facial expressions among these managers who have pretty much suffered a mental crash similar to a exception_failure in windows XP or something with blue screen. Not for 10 million dollars. It will never happen again in my lifetime, however a little Sass and a big mouth goes a long way in a insufferable office floor stuffed with suits God one of these days Ima talk myself right into trouble.
I leave you with this parting shot.
If the entire system of getting one driver, a 18 wheeler that is empty, good clean shape and so on ROLLING direct to a shipper to be loaded by two forklifts in 10 minutes, papers after 25 and rolling. We will prosper.
No that will never happen.
So help me, I love to pick on Covenant. Are they a trucking company or are they Billy Graham's revival gospel time?SilverBulletBand, faux_maestro, JC1971 and 3 others Thank this. -
