Drivers:
This is not a old school truck or large car Idea. If your in your work semi or personal car you need to teach our younger people about the semi air horn.
I realize you can't always pull that cord and let that air fly.
I ran into a 5yr old boy with his parents at a truck stop. I asked if he knew what an air horn was. He shook his head no and hid behind his mom's leg. His mother smiled and gestured the pumping of the arm in the air, and asks her son to do the same. I got into my truck,. Did a small pull on the cord, to not scare him but let him hear the horn. After a few min. He was frantically doing it as other trucks were making the turn and saw him. One had a train horn, he was so excited that day.
Keep the tradition going people.

Call me bad, but I never did that. Maybe I'd toot the service horn, with displeased results, but to me, the air horn on a semi is not a toy, it's a warning device, just like a train.

If I'm blasting my air horn, it's usually to say "WTF are you doing"
When I was a kid, there was a local guy with a couple old Mack dumptrucks. Both front bumpers had painted "Here Comes Joe" on them. Well you can bet every kid in the neighborhood gave Joe the arm pump...and Joe always obliged.cybill234, peterbilt_2005 and Final Drive Thank this.
