You talking the winch cat for ski slopes? that one. Or is their another that I'm not thinking of?

 

It’s past ridiculous.

 

They go to wash and get cleaned and get the paint stripped off of them, then they go through an inspection phase and then get moved to go through a fix phase and they start putting it back together again and then it gets moved again where they finish putting it back together which is a hanger where they can put the tail back on it. The final stop is back outside where they do all of the inspections and operational checks and once all that stuff done its release to the flight crew and they do a functional check flight on it and once it passes that it goes back home.

Takes around 7 months to do all that give or take. They all cycle through this once every 5 years.

 

IMO, the Blue Angels are the best of all the demonstration teams, and I'm an Air Force guy, but you can't really go wrong with any of them.

If you happen to be at an airshow where they have the F-15 Strike Eagle demonstration team, which is just a single aircraft, they put on a show, Bad A s s!

 

This came on XM outlaw country this morning. Got a little chuckle out of the lyrics but actually it had a pretty good tune to the music I thought

Being out like that makes the traffic jams and hustle and bustle of everyday life in the cities seem so far away.
