try getting a job in contsruction. (dump, lowboy, etc, etc) you get to work all kinds of crazy hours. i am not sure what type of weather you get in your state, but if you do get "some snow", many construction companies bid on plowing contracts with the state, giving you MORE bang for the buck money making opportunities.

Yeah that was definitely a bad move on your part. A lot of the time you run the risk of those people turning their back on you and spinning the story to benefit them. Telling their insurance something completely different from what they had said in person. Next thing you know you have some personal injury attorney with silly commercials coming after you for damages you didn't cause. Lol maybe you need to take some advice from them tho.

The safety guys will be a little pissy that you didn't report it right away, but otherwise the worst of it should be some remedial training and a preventable now residing on your record. Just don't go repeating that mistake, otherwise they'll be quite a bit less chill

Aaaaannnnd my previous post is irrelevant. Point stands that it wasn't going to be too bad, though.

This is a good thread though. A lot of newer drivers can learn from this. And you have to make the decision to do what you think is best at the moment. Sometimes you just have to keep your mouth shut and move on. To this day I will still tell you that I have no idea how that little town in Alabama lost its cable TV service when a cable inexplicably fell down.
