They're preloaded with dielectric grease. They're great for taillight repair like you had earlier. No stripping required. Just push in up to three wires and pinch closed with pliers.
I get them on Amazon for $22 for a box of 50.1951 ford, Crusader66, Tall Mike and 21 others Thank this. -
@sawmill is the king of wiring, I tried to use a butt connector in his shop and he threatened to feed me to the cattle...

I don’t blame him
I hat those dam things! The tool at EZ always used them goofy ### things, can’t tell you how many times I’ve laid under a truck or trailer fixing lights so I could cross a scale with no worries.

In the rust belt them are not worth a broke dick. But then again everything fails faster here. Might be ok if your states dont use all the junk on the roads. Good temp repair to get home.1951 ford, Crusader66, Tall Mike and 13 others Thank this. -
Morning men. Time to do the deal.1951 ford, Crusader66, Tall Mike and 23 others Thank this. -
Thanks partner. Just a little wind and rain here at Mooseville..... I mean Elk City. Had a small tornado down by Mangum. Some flooding east and north of us. I-40 is shut down both directions at El Reno right now cuz of water.
Typical May in Oklahoma.1951 ford, Crusader66, Tall Mike and 19 others Thank this. -
My Fontaine Double Drop I had was wired with those straight from the factory. I never had any problems with them. Although I had numerous plug ends corrode and fall apart. And of course Fontaine uses an odd ball plug and lights that can’t be found anywhere but a trailer parts dealer.IH Truck Guy, 1951 ford, Tall Mike and 20 others Thank this.
