This is not the housing this is the piston cooling jet thermostats i believe you can replace them separately do not need to replace whole housing cuz it is a pain in the a to replace the whole thing.

I don't know if they're available separately or not, but when I send trucks to the dealer to have that same leak fixed under warranty, they replace the whole filter housing, not just those thermostats.

Well i guess they have to charge the warranty for something, i dont see why you would need to replace everything i've never really had the need to and the labor time is a lot faster this way it only take about an hour to replace both and about 400 in parts roughly

you can buy one or the other. just depends on warranty. keep the customer happy and replace the whole thing so it 5k miles the oil filter housing doesn't start leaking and make us look bad. the piston cooling jet valve is a more difficult one to replace. if you are not too good with repairs I would take some where. the bolts are difficult to get to and sometimes the valve gets stuck. IF you decide to take this job on yourself. MAKE sure you have the valve going in the correct way. it is cut different on one side. there is a small metal tit on the housing and that is where the flat side of the valve needs to face. lube the orings. looking at your pics, it looks like the housing is leaking at the block too. may just want to take some where and replace the whole thing. will come with a new update oil pipe and a new housing. possible in the front its leaking out of the freeze plug. good luck. let me know please
