Rabbi why in hell do you think a 7000 is a standard to measure radios against?

I have to disagree with your comment on "he cares about wasting peoples money".....I guess it boils down to your definition of "waste". Would it be a "waste" for someone to spend 3x as much on a radio to not even get double the performance? Would it be a "waste" to have him tune your radio so now it tx/rx 15 miles instead of 10? For me, 2 or 3x the cost for that extra few miles isn't worth it, so that would be a waste in my eyes, but for some they wouldnt see it as a waste. Comes back to definition.

Tuning CBs is a service related industry....its all about the service, and if your customer SERVICE sucks....then so does your business model.....case closed. Your not allowed to ask this ####### questions?......seriously?!
Would you go buy a car if you weren't allowed to aske the salesman questions? Bwahahahhaha

I don't care if Looney Tune can tune my radio to talk a 100 miles more I will not do business with someone who acts/talks the way he does to and about people.....

On another note I've been running the 99 V2 on high in my pickup for the last hour or so while I'm at my son's baseball practice and the wires are not getting hot at all and it's doing a great job as a mobile mud Duck radio! so it must have just been the sun shining on the wires before that made me think they getting warm, for anybody that wants to know LOL

Mckinley in line right now with Palomar SL 41 mic, loud and clear, not picking up engine noise in this new T680 like it did in previous truck, will just run this for the time being.

Here's a guy that's actually doing it instead of just flapping his gums talking about it and he's doing it with a Galaxy 949 for a fraction of what the Lincoln cost.

It just goes to show you don't need to spend a lot of money on a big radio to talk skip anybody can do it and it's nothing to brag about.
