I just need to vent about how much I love cooking for the household and then nobody will eat, except myself.

This was a rush on the fly meal from meat that was in fridge for 3 days .

    Meal prep was as follows.
    Pork country ribs 2# approx.
    Red, Yellow peppers halved .
Rice o Roni 3 boxes with cheese brocolli soup mixed in .

Pork was soaked with teriaki , black pepper , and garlic.

    Cooking process.
    Fire up grill.
Grill meat and peppers. Drip some beer on food.
    Cook rice in pot.

I once smoked a brisket for 20 hours and no one wanted to eat. It was #### good. I ate it.

Granted one issue was somberness served at almost 10pm. So a bit late for most people.
But teens are always hungry and he did not like the fact the country pork ribs were a bit chewy.
I do think leftovers will be more tender today.

Took us a week but we finished a large two gallon slow cooked yankee pot roast done our style. Starting with about a 5 pound rump of high grade, throw in gravy, taters, carrots, onions, and on and on and on.

Cap it, set it up 10 hours cook. Take off for the day.

Come back give it a try at dinner time. Keep working on it for the rest of the week monitoring the quality.

It's expensive but compared to 5 days dinners out of it.. cheap.

Soup to me is a luxury food as the household always wants solid foods such as pizza, or burgers, or pasta.

Nothing beats a chicken in a pot with whatever you got, and dumplings.
