I would love an ice cold mojito but I can’t because someone would rat me out and it would be bad all around. I might be tempted to sneak off and get one but I know there’s a chance some little brown noser would call my company or the cops.
2months OTR and now I would like a day off

    Crazy ain't it.
I'll take my chances with somebody who
Smoked a joint over a drunk anyday.
As more and more states legalize weed,
It's going to be harder and harder to get
    People to do this job.

I don't care if they lower the age to 16.
There not giving up the weed and their family
To be gone a month at a time.
With beginner mega's doing hair test, they're not even
    Gonna try.

I know, I've tried to talk many of my younger
Family members and their friends to quit their
10 dollar an hour dead end jobs and hit the road.
Ain't happening, the nothing job and smoking
A joint after work beats the money all day long.

How long can the trucking industry hold out.
    That's the question.
The first company that allows drivers to smoke
Weed will get 10,000 applications the next day.
    You heard it hear first.

They could pay 25.cpm and have a waiting list
    A mile long.

I got so lost here. So I assume the trainee went into snoop mode and is crying over an empty can? Throw it away at the next truck stop... move on.

But honestly. I would talk with the company about that. If you get inspected and that's spotted. You're gonna have a bad time.

The time that scales tell you to pull around back and get papers for inspection is the time you two will have the last day employed once Mr DOT sees that can in the cab.

It's not worth going to jail over. Its not the 80's anymore. Im pretty sure that if you were caught in that situation it's finished for you.

Be careful please whom you accuse of holding a double standard. A huge cross section of (this community) are ok with reefer. The problrm is reefer is prohibited 100% of the time and Alcohol is not. In fact I will go out on a limb and say maybe as much as 75% of the members on TTR see this. Like I said the problem is that DOT prohibition.

At the Flying J in Waco, Tx., I saw some naked, fat guy gratifying himself while sitting in the driver seat of his truck.
He purposely had his interior lights on and it was about 2:30 in the morning.... Looky here everybody, behold the Waco Wacker!
I’m willing to bet he was even logged in as ‘off duty’.

Why is this perfectly legal, yet a hit of Keystone Light is cause for crucifixion?
