Weird tire ware

    That's a OOS tire. Something is wrong to cause it. Bad road? No alingment proper or suspension? Or all of them.

    You need a shop to look at them. I certainly would refuse to drive it until fixed and tires replaced.

    Don't feel bad, We had trouble with goodyear on one of our cars, went through 12 of them in three years with one survivor that finally was replaced at 40K

    Looks like you've been pulling on and off the pavement shoulder where it drops off. Doesn't look like a wear issue, looks like damage to me.

    That makes sense, I have done that a couple times to try and avoide some potholes in IN on I70
