Well I got way off my normal running schedule. The load that picked up in Streetsboro Ohio took 10hrs after appointment time to get it loaded. Ended up getting loaded at 2am and ran down here to SC. I was beat. That I 77 through West Virginia is not the fastest drive in town. It took all of my 11hours to drive 547 miles. :biggrin_2552: got to delivery with 11 minutes left on the clock.

Vic Firth and Bumper Thank this.

Cool thing about running in the east this past week is i managed to avoid all that crazy weather in the west and midwest, geash!! Snow, rain, flooding, hail and tornadoes what the heck, freaking armageddon out there.. Got my next load pickup in Charlotte going to Salt Lake city UT.

Bit of a load scheduling problem the last 10 days. That load i had going to Salt Lake cancelled.

Now on a load heading to Sturtevant WI. Will arrive tomorrow morning but it won't deliver until Monday at midnight.

Crazy because this will create another 34hr reset. That will be my 3rd, 34hr reset in the last 10 days. Only drove 1154 miles last week. This is not by choice it's all on crappie load schedule with too much time and can't deliver early or in one case the customer took 10hrs to load, but that was after waiting a day to pick it up.

Not usually like this but it happens.. As you know by now! Salary baby! still get my full check.

Don’t that effect your bonus for miles ?

    atruckr Thanks this.

Based on the salary they get and the miles he ran, my math says he got a dollar a mile, I’m thinking the bonus is a mute point.

Yeah it does. It's like this love & hate thing. Some months i hit bonus and some i don't. Just figure that's the way it is. But as johnboy said i got paid big for just driving 1154 miles. Plus i took 6 days at home with pay this month.

JohnBoy, drvrtech77 and Vic Firth Thank this.
